We are very happy to announce the collaboration between HALKETT and Bespoke Finish Inc. and Robert’s help in creating the new HALKETT FLOWING program, for metal coating.

As president and founder of Bespoke Finish Inc, Robert is keenly focused on showing his clients that the industry-accepted approach to wood finishes and other coating options is not the only way to reach a desired look. His approach allows for architects and designers to solve seemingly impossible finishing issues on wood or other surfaces, whether using organic materials or modern coatings, including sprayable liquid metals.

After establishing his reputation for providing the highest quality finishes across the US, Robert created a different way to finish wood that adds value and enhances the nuances that are present in every species of wood. His expertise includes producing historically accurate wood finishes from the 18th to the 21st century. Robert has vast experience in coatings from the traditional coatings manufacturers to obscure products from around the world. Knowing both sides of the industry gives him a unique perspective and abilities.

In 2020 Robert became an authorized partner of VeroMetal® products to introduce architects and designers in the US and Canada to this finish coating made from real metal. It gives design flexibility to produce truly pioneering designs. The design takes on all the properties and character of bronze, copper, iron or one of the many other metals that are available. Exquisite finishes on façade cladding, door and window frames, interior fittings and works of art. This finish can be applied to any surface, in different thicknesses. Robust and authentic, polished to a mirror finish, or with a striking texture – VeroMetal® makes it possible. Robert is the US and Canadian distributor as VeroMetal® North America LLC and is committed to educating professional finishers on its use to assure availability of skilled VeroMetal® applicators.

Robert’s services include design consultation, finish design and processes, finishing training, as well as working on elite projects for discerning clients, whether the project is for a wood or metal finish.
